I have just watched a three-hour interview of George Will on C-Span and I was absolutely aghast at his thinking and ability to express himself. I think he is a far greater man than most people know. I also learned some assorted facts about Will. Like:

· Twice married 4 kids from 30 to 10

· Will was 61 on the day the program was taped.

· Will was born in Illinois; father: college professor.

· Will received his BA from Trinity College in CT.

· Will attended grad work at Oxford.

· Short attendance at Harvard.

· Got PhD at Tulane in philosophy.

· Taught philosophy at college in Toronto for four years.

· His 10 year-old son has Down's Syndrome.

· His 30 year-old son is an FBI agent in Rome.

· He has great respect for ex-senator Moynihan.

· Thinks John Marshall was one of the greatest founders.

· Only hobby diversion is baseball.

· Considering giving up ABC news analyst position

In three hours I got a lot of George Will's ideas and I found every one of them good.

34% of all children born in 2001 were born out of wedlock.
