Prayer
to the Sun
Scorch
for me the barren earth
Bring down fire
from the heavens
Be the vessel
of my vengeance
On the heads of
fellow beings.
Blast
away all living matter
That contains
molecular memory
Any trace of human
history
Blight that poisons
all it touches.
Leave
the earth a smoking cinder
Slowly cooling,
convalescing
The seeds of its
regeneration
Harbored safe
within its bosom.
When
life again begins to flower
Mother Earth producing
bounty
Into paradise
return me
With a mate of
my own choosing.
Better
yet, a score of mates
To alternate at
my discretion
And alleviate
the boredom
Of benevolent
despotism.
For the
whole of Pax Mugtonia
Justly will I
lord it over
Those who offer
me obeisance
Groveling in self-abasement.
Since
I am a Sodomite
No issue will
from my loins spring
And my harem should
replenish
Apart from some
few choice companions.
When
those less favored start to aging
Find them each
a quiet island
Where they can
engage in craft work
And supply the
truly worthy.
Life
on earth will be idyllic
Under my administration
Pleasure - ruling
principle
Namely mine -
the goal of others.
When
my Golden Age is over
And amid my weeping
subjects
Lift me up into
the heavens
There to answer
for my gumption.
